To comply with our “No Hidden Charge” policy, we encourage travelers to thoroughly read our terms and conditions before booking any trip with Nature Lovers Treks and Tours. Our booking terms and conditions are as follows:
The terms and conditions govern the relationship between you (client) and Nature Lovers Treks and Tours Pvt. Ltd. (referred to as ‘company’). By booking a trip, you agree to the stipulations mentioned in the Terms and Conditions. In case of any disputes, including legal cases that may arise during or after the trip, both parties agree that any legal actions or proceedings shall be settled exclusively in a Nepali court of law and governed by the laws of Nepal.
1. Payment Schedule and Methods
- Deposit: An initial deposit of 30% of the trip cost must be paid to secure your booking.
- Remaining Balance Payment: The remaining balance can be paid either before arrival or upon arrival in Nepal in cash. In case of credit card payment, a 5% handling charge may occur, which is payable by the client. If you are paying via bank transfers, the package cost should be settled at least two weeks before the start of your trek/tour in Nepal.

2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Before Payment:
Trip cancellations are possible if no payment has been made. - Cancellation Fees
If you cancel your trip, the following fees will be forfeited by the client based on the total trip cost:
More than 60 days before departure: 20%
Between 60 and 7 days: 50%
Between 6 and 2 days: 75%
Less than 48 hours or after trip commencement: 100% - Early Return:
- In case of an early return due to medical/physical or personal reasons, no refunds are provided.
3. Itinerary Changes, Risks, and Liabilities
Treks and tours are subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: weather, landslides, roadblocks, floods, snow, political unrest, flight delays/cancellations, or the client's fitness. While we will offer alternative trips or substitute routes of the same category, no refunds will be provided for such changes. Nature Lovers Treks and Tours is not responsible for accidents, sickness, or government restrictions. Clients must bear any extra costs incurred due to these unforeseen changes.
4. Price Revision
The company reserves the right to revise pricing due to significant exchange rate fluctuations or government actions (such as tax increases).
5. Transfer Policy
More than 30 days before the trip: Trip fees can be transferred from one trip to another
Less than 30 days before the trip: The travelers are liable for a surcharge between USD 50 and USD 100 per person per transfer.
6. Travel and Medical Insurance
A comprehensive insurance policy is mandatory for all travelers. This is a crucial safety requirement that provides financial protection in case of unforeseen emergencies, including personal injury, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, baggage loss, and even death during the duration of the trek/tour.
7. Client’s Responsibility
Tour and trekking guides have full authority during the treks and tours. If a client is found to have misbehaved or engaged in unlawful acts, the tour/trekking guide has the right to hand you over to the authorities. You may also be compelled to leave the tour/trek with no refund.
8. Nepal Visa and Passport Conditions
Travelers are required to have a valid passport with at least six months of validity from the date of return. A Nepal Visa can be obtained from the Nepal Consulate Office or the Embassies of your country, or upon arrival at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport. The client needs to bear the Nepal Visa cost.
9. Health and Fitness
The health and fitness is the responsibility of the client. Ensure you have checked with your doctor regarding your health and fitness before booking your trek/trip. In case of any pre-existing medical conditions or disabilities that could increase health risks during travel, we highly recommend that the client inform our travel expert/representative.
10. Children
All travelers under 16 must be accompanied by an authorized guardian/parent. Contact our representative/travel expert for further information on age and suitability.
11. Publicity
The client agrees to allow Nature Lovers Treks and Tours to use the pictures, photos, or images taken during the trip for promotional and advertising purposes without compensation, including photos that feature you.
12. Privacy
The clients are required to submit their personal details to obtain the necessary permits. However, this information will not be disclosed or used for other purposes.
13. Updating the Terms and Conditions
Nature Lovers Treks and Tours reserve the right to update and amend the above-mentioned Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients are responsible for staying updated with the changes. The current version is available on www.natureloverstrek.com and will be the terms referred to in case of any disputes.
