Nepal Visa Process: A Step-by-Step Application Guide
There are two primary ways to handle your visa application. Depending on the traveler’s preference, you can choose the online pre-application process or use the kiosks at the airport.
The online Pre-Arrival Form: This is an efficient process as it saves you time at the airport. You can fill out the “Tourist Visa Pre-Arrival Form” through the Department of Immigration website. While submitting the pre-arrival visa form, ensure that:
- The form is submitted within 15 days of your intended arrival date
- Submit your passport details, a digital passport-sized photo, and your accommodation address in Nepal
- Print the confirmation receipt with a barcode, which shall be presented at the payment counter in Nepal upon arrival
