Tent peak also known as Tharpu Chuli (5663m/18,575 ft) is located towards the north of the Annapurna Base Camp. Tent Peak climbing offers the panoramic views of Himalayan ranges which includes Machapuchare, Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna III and Annapurna IV, Hiunchuli, Baraha Sikhar, Gangapurna, Khansar Kang, Tarke Kang and more. 

One of the most favorite peaks for the beginner climbers, Tent Peak lies in the popular Annapurna region. Not very technically challenging though strenuous, Tent peak can be done by any motivated individuals with less experience in climbing. The journey leads with the trekking through the most popular trails which is followed by the trekkers to get to the Annapurna base camp through the subtropical lush jungles and the rhododendron forests. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu 1400m, D, Hotel

You will be welcomed by our cheerful and dedicated staffs in the Kathmandu airport and transferred to the hotel for refreshment. We will then leave you until we meet again in the dinner table for the formal introduction and trip briefing. The cultural live program will be on the menu.

Day 02: Scenic drive to Pokhara 860m 6hrs (Flight is an option), B, Hotel

You can expect to see Mt Machapuchare (Fish Tail) in this driving day en route to Pokhara. As you get to Pokhara, you will be amazed by this wonderful valley where the Himalayan ranges reflect upon its Phewa Lake. Transfer to hotel by the serene Phewa Lake. Boating in the lake.

Day 03: Drive to Nayapul and trek to Ulleri 1960m 5hrs, BLD, Teahouse

Our climbing journey begins from today onward. Let’s be cool and slowly start our steps to get to the wonderland. From Nayapul, start walking uphill for a short time to reach Birethanti and later to Tikhedhunga for the lunch stop. Passing through houses, shops and different settlements especially with Magar tribe and walking through some serious tough steps you'll arrive at Ulleri for the overnight stop.

Day 04: Trek to Ghorepani 2874m 5hrs, BLD, Teahouse

Another beautiful day to be walking into serene nature. You'll gain more height at Ghorepani village with fantastic scenery of world’s 7th highest Mt Dhaulagiri and its range of peaks Annapurna South and Vara-Shikar. Ghorepani is popular for the hiking to Poon Hill, a view point offering super wide angle views of world’s 3 highest peaks and other mountains with striking sunrise and sunset.

Day 05: Trek to Tadapani 2630m 5hrs, BLD, Teahouse

You’d better wake up early if you don’t want to miss the beautiful sunrise over the massive mountain ranges. Hike to Poon Hill 3210m before dawn. After you think, it’s then you had enough of the panoramic mountain views, time to get back to lodge and continue another day trek. Tadapani for the overnight stop after usual uphill and downhill climbs.

Day 06: Trek to Chhomrong 1960m 5hrs, BLD, Teahouse

In the first part of our journey today, we will take the steep descent to Kimron Khola. After an hour of leveled trail, we will ascend uphill to get to Chhomrong for the night stop. Chhomrong is a beautiful traditional village offering you the striking view of Fishtail peak across the valley.

Day 07: Trek to Dovan 2500m 5hrs, BLD, Teahouse

After crossing the Chhomrong Khola via a suspension bridge early morning, venture the day journey through the deep forests of oak, bamboo and rhododendron. Do the final ascend to Kuldi before descending down to arrive at the village called Dovan.

Day 08: Trek to Machapuchare base camp 3700m 6hrs, BLD, Teahouse

Today’s amazing trek will bring us to a heavenly amphitheatre amidst the Himalayas including Annapurna I, Annapurna III and Machapuchare in Machapuchare Base Camp aka MBC. The mountain views from MBC just cannot get more surreal than this.

Day 09: Trek from Machapuchare Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp 4,130 m, BLD, Teahouse

A short climb in the early morning will expose us to the areas of Annapurna base camp aka ABC within a couple of hours. After catching some breath, continue further to get to the most magnificent viewpoint at Annapurna South Base Camp to witness the Himalayan wonders, picturesque landscapes and the panoramic Himalayan valleys with the soaring peaks. Behold, since your heart might stop beating for few seconds. Explore the surroundings in the afternoon time.

Day 10: Acclimatization and rest day in Annapurna Base Camp, BLD, Teahouse

In this very resting day, prepare yourself for the next days climbing session. To boost your knowledge and confidence, our leading climbing guide will teach you all the climbing techniques and proper way of successfully summiting the Tent Peak. Do some short hikes in the afternoon time.

Day 11: Trek to Tent peak base camp 4450m 5hrs, BLD, Camping

And it's high time to start climbing through the glaciers and moraines towards Tent peak base camp. It will be slightly more difficult than the earlier days. Overnight in the tented camp in the base camp.

Day 12: Trek to Tent peak high camp 4900m 5hrs, BLD, Camping

This day will be tougher than ever. You will be ascending on the steep trail and some times maybe around 50 to 60 degrees on the cross steep section. With the gradual steady climb, you will arrive at the high camp to feast the panoramic Annapurna ranges in front of your eyes.

Day 13: Tent peak or Tharpu Chuli peak summit 5663m and back to base camp 6hrs, BLD, Camping

We rise up early in the morning around 2 or 3 am, to push forward to our last summit. On the rocky and ice trail, you will climb strenuously in the steep section nearly around 70/80 degrees. After the successful summit to the top, it's time to descend back down to the base camp. Savor the breathtaking mountain views enough while you are there.

Day 14: Trek back to Bamboo 2300m 6hrs, BLD, Teahouse

In this easy cup cake eating like day, we descend all the way back to Bamboo for the night stop. Walk through the forest and enjoy the stunning views of the Annapurna Himalayan ranges once again.

Day 15: Trek to Jhinu Danda 1700m 6hrs, BLD, Teahouse

For the first part, ascent a long way up from Bamboo, climb out of the valley and take steep descent from Chhomrong towards Jhinu Danda. After getting some rest, you can take a side trip to the natural hot water pool at the bank of Modi Khola.

Day 16: Trek to Sauli and drive to Pokhara, B, Hotel

We will cross a long bridge in the first part of our journey to descend towards Kyumi and take the final uphill walk from there to Sauli Bazaar and hop into our vehicle to drive back to Pokhara. And it’s the end of our marvelous Tent peak climbing journey with the never ending memories to be cherished forever. Since it’s your final day or night in the Himalayan lap and you are going to miss this wonderland a lot in the days to come, take it easy and let's celebrate the victory night. Bottoms up!

Day 17: Drive back to Kathmandu, BD, Hotel

We drive early to Kathmandu. Browse around the market rest of the day. You can ask your guide to take you to explore around if you feel like doing so. Farewell dinner is also served.

Day 18: Goodbye from Nepal, B, Farewell.

Your last day in amazing Nepal after doing the glorious Annapurna region trekking. Transfer to the airport for your sweet flight back home. Goodbye.
