Simply, we will fully prepare ourselves for the final trekking preparation. You could opt to go for the sightseeing in the historical and cultural Kathmandu city.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Baluwa in Gorkha 900 m 9 hours, BLD, Teahouse
We will drive along the Trisuli River enjoying the countryside road, the views of the landscapes, greenery and the settlements. We can stop time to time to observe the historical monuments in Gorkha district and also to admire the panoramic mountain views. Finally, we arrive at Baluwa next to Darundi Khola.
Day 04: Trek from Baluwa to Barpak 1950 m 6 hours, BLD, Teahouse
In our first day of trekking in Manaslu region, we follow the riverbank of Darundi Khola and cross the river to ascend up the river valley. We can see the amazing view of Buddha Himal en route. The final trail goes steeply to Barpak through the terraced fields and the herder’s shelters.
Day 05: Trek from Barpak to Gaikharka 3000 m 7 hours, BLD, Teahouse
We start our hike early morning since the day is long ahead of us. The trail goes up and passes the dense oak and rhododendron forest while the mountainous peaks keep getting closer and closer. Eventually, we arrive at Gaikharka which is an open grassland surrounded by forest.
Day 06: Trek from Gaikharka to Rupina la phedi 3700 m 8 hours, BLD, Camping
In another awesome day adventure, we pass through the wilderness once again. The long day through the streams, grasslands, forests, up and down the hills and through the scattered settlements, we arrive narrowly in Rupina la Phedi for the overnight camp.
Day 07: Trek from Rupina la phedi to other side of phedi via Rupina la pass 4720 m 7 hours, BLD, Camping
The highlight of our whole adventure is here. We will pass the high Rupina La Pass through the high camp in the snow and the rocky terrain. It’s going to be a breathtaking moment for everyone. After enjoying the superb views of the majestic peaks and the whole picturesque surroundings, we descend down to the other side of Rupina la Phedi where we camp the night.
Day 08: Trek from other side of Rupina La phedi to Zokbatang 3200 m 6 hours, BLD, Camping
In this wonderful trekking day, we will descend through the rhododendron forests, the terraces and several herders’ settlements enjoying the backdrop of marvelous natural scenario to arrive at Zokbatang for the night.
Day 09: Trek from Zokbatang to Nyak 2400 m 6 hours, BLD, Camping
As the journey continues, our trail leads us up and down during most of the sections. With the stunning views of the mountains in the background, we will keep going until we arrive at a small village called Nyak. The isolated village where people survive by cattle raising and feeding on small amounts.
Day 10: Trek from Nyak to Philim 1500 m 6 hours, BLD, Teahouse
After a basic breakfast, we will descend gradually towards Philim along the Budhi Gandaki River and through the beautiful terraced lands and the lush forests. Overnight at Philim.
Day 11: Trek from Philim to Dobhan 1100 m 5 hours, BLD, Teahouse
We arrive to the traditional villages like Salleri and Jagat on our way towards Dobhan today. We will encounter the mules and donkeys carrying the goods to supply to upper Manaslu areas and the Tsum valley. The journey continues pleasantly past the paddy fields to Dobhan.
Day 12: Trek from Dobhan to Arughat 7 hours, BLD, Teahouse
In this last and the long trekking day, we will take it easy and slow. The day starts getting warmer and the path will descend more. We go through the natural hot spring spot Tatopani and Machhakhola to arrive at Labubeshi. After a short break, more through the cultivated fields and warmer sub-tropical areas we reach Arughat Bazaar, a large village which is a major hub and the market area for the villagers. Arughat is the main highway junction as well, from where Dhading, Trisuli Bazaar and Pokhara separates.
Day 13: Drive from Arughat to Kathmandu, BD, Hotel

How is the Accommodation during the Manaslu Rupina La Pass Trekking?
In Manaslu Rupina La Pass Trekking, we will provide you the teahouses and tented camping accommodations. A teahouse is typically a mountain lodge which is a combination of a lodge or a guest house and a restaurant or a café with basic furniture and interiors suitable for the social hangout. Some teahouses have attached bathrooms and the central heating furnace. Also few teahouses provide the European toilets while Asian style of toilets are available in every teahouses. Hot showers are available but on extra cost. The same goes with the hot drinking water since they use the gas or solar to boil the water. At the same time, it’s better to carry your own toiletries including the towels.

Your meals will be freshly cooked and you will be served day and nights by our Sherpas. Our staffs will carry the sleeping bags, pillows and mattresses for you to sleep in the tents. What are the permits that I need for Manaslu Rupina La Pass Trekking?
For Manaslu Rupina La Pass Trekking, you will need to make 2 permits: MCAP {Manaslu Conservation Area Project} and TIMS Card (Trekkers' Information Management System).
How does this tipping system in Nepal work and do I have to tip?
