Manaslu Expedition is one of the most popular expeditions in Nepal. Mt Manaslu 8163m is the eighth highest peak in the world, located at Nepal and Tibet border. Since Manaslu region was opened for the visitors in 1992, the trekking and expedition to this region has been popular since then, particularly for having incredible scenes of the unique landscapes, natural wonders of snowcapped rocky hills and awesome views of the range of mountains located in the Manaslu region.

The term Manaslu means the spirit mountain which stands to be benevolent and strong deity in the local dialect. Because of this religious belief, this region has become one of the controlled areas. You need to seek the permission in order you to have expedition in this area. The expedition to Manaslu offers an awesome views of the majestic mountains along with an opportunity to explore the blend of cultures, unique rituals and lifestyles of diverse ethnic groups.

Different Japanese teams attempted to climb Manaslu every year from 1952 to 1956 when the first summit was achieved. The Japanese continued climbing Manaslu until 1971. The Koreans were the next interested climbers. Eventually, it earned its name and fame among other mountaineers too and there has been quite a few remarkable achievements in Manaslu expedition since then.
