We support the education of children in need, especially in remote areas like the Chepang communities in Dhading, Chitwan, and Makwanpur, where we mainly focus our efforts. Many children in these areas dream of going to school, but their families can't afford the costs due to poverty. Why is there so much poverty? The main reason is the lack of education. Education is key to breaking the cycle of poverty.
You may wonder, how much does it really cost for a child to get a proper education? The answer is, absolutely not much. We cannot help everyone, but we can make a significant difference by helping just one child. By supporting a child’s education, we help them grow into a better person who will eventually take care of their own family and contribute to the community.
Based on our research and experience, we know that a child in Nepal only needs about USD 200 per year to attend a government school. This amount covers all their school expenses, including tuition, uniforms, study materials, and even lunch snacks.
