Chepang hill village trek and tour is a typical cultural homestay tour which takes you to the core of the Chepang settlements. Chepangs are one of the indigenous communities in Nepal which because of their distinct lifestyle, minority in number and the remoteness of their land have become the marginalized group. With the aim to support them and create possible income through tourism, we have created this homestay tour. We hope to raise the awareness of their existence and their rich cultures among the local as well as international visitors. 

The homeland of Chepang, Chepang village is indeed a beautiful village in the flatland southern Terai of Nepal. One can experience and observe the scenic beauty along with the daily lifestyle of the Chepang communities. The trek begins from Hugdi and ends in Shaktikhor and regarded as one of the short yet unique cultural exchange treks in Nepal. As we finish our tour in Shaktikhor which is very close to Chitwan National Park, one can also opt to visit Chitwan National Park to see the abundant wild-lives in the biggest protected park in Nepal. Go with the veteran jungle guides and explore the vast green land either on the jeep or back of the elephant or on foot. Be amazed by the highly possible encounter with the rare Royal Bengal Tiger and extinct One-horned rhinoceros.
