Ama Dablam, is one of the most impressive and gorgeous mountains in the world. A gem of the Himalayan nation Nepal, located to the south of Mount Everest and Lhotse in the Everest region, Ama Dablam is also known as the 'Matterhorn of the Himalayas'. One can see the beautiful peak within the very few days of trekking to the usual Everest base camp while it separates from Tengboche.

Ama Dablam has its unique pyramid shape while the hanging glacier in the southwest face of the mountain looks like the ornament box worn by the Sherpa women called as Dablam, therefore the name was derived 'Ama Dablam'. Only at an elevation of 6812m, this impressive mountain in the Everest region shares the beautiful location and climbing to the summit is yet another remarkable adventure for a lifetime. During the ascent, a climber can see the vast arrays of the panoramic mountains all around it.

Mount Ama Dablam is technically a very difficult mountain to climb which means a climber must have the full experience and training before attempting to climb it. Ama Dablam is a steep pyramid of ice with sharp ridges and the almost impossible vertical walls. The climbing is done from the South Western Ridge. It was in 1961 that the first successful climbing was done through the same route. Normally, the climbers set up three camps, just below or to the right of the hanging glacier. The first part until the camp I is comparatively easier than getting to the other camps which gets tougher and tougher. You have to be fully knowledgeable in the skills of rock and ice climbing to complete the adventurous journey to the summit.

Nature Lovers Treks and Tours offer you this amazing lifetime adventure in the Everest region Himalayas of Nepal, the Ama Dablam Expedition. The impression that the mountain leave to any climbers is beyond articulation and it's just mind blowing. Join us in the coming seasons for the hundred percent successful ascent to Ama Dablam.
